Jason Kidd is a veteran point guard who will be able to navigate the offense and set up the superstars Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire. He is one of the best passers of all time, and NY is in for a treat when they watch him.
The Lakers have added three big time players to their team. Steve Nash, Dwight Howard and Antawn Jamison will all be adding to the already powerful Lakers lineup. With so much star power, the Lakers will have to find a chemistry that works. Nash will likely focus on setting up his teammates, since he will not have to take on the primary role of scorer within this offense. That way, Kobe and Pau can continue to score alongside Jamison and Howard. Lakers fans liked Andrew Bynum last year, but the upgrade to Howard means that the Lakers will once again have the most talented big man in the league. Such past great include Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Shaquille O'Neal, Wilt Chamberlain and even back to George Mikan.
