Lakers Team Report (Yahoo! Sports) It's not often that Lakers owner Jerry Buss meets with reporters, but he did a rare offseason session to celebrate his induction into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.
Buss had some interesting comments about the back-to-back champion Lakers going forward—including a vow of confidence despite the assemblage of talent Buss' old friend Pat Riley has pulled off in Miami.
"Suddenly, there's this juggernaut out there that we have a chance to play against and that excites me," Buss said about the Heat bringing in free agents LeBron James and Chris Bosh to join Dwyane Wade.
